Area Cookie Manager
Lawrence School System: Support Girl Scout troops by assisting volunteers through the Girl Scout Cookie Program - from December 1 through March 30. Ensure adults and girls are educated and knowledgeable of the GS Cookie Program, by providing GSCI taking points and guidance to ensure a successful, safe cookie season. Collect and review troop orders, girl reward orders and reports via a web based system. Receive and distribute cookie materials and rewards to troops with assistance from council staff. Meet monthly with troop leaders to support and answer questions (information you will receive in training).
Weekly responsibilities are approximately 2-4 hours/ month December and January; 4-8 hours a week from February- March.
The majority of this volunteer position is virtual.
Requirements: Detail oriented, clear communication skills, ability to support and address concerns, enthusiasm for Girl Scout mission and the cookie program. Must attend training, register as a Girl Scout volunteer which includes a background screening
