Johnson County Food Pantry Distribution

Help the Red Shield Center team pack and distribute food and hygiene boxes for clients in the community! Through a drive-thru system, clients will be receiving boxes of necessities in a safe and socially distant way. Volunteers will be helping to fill and distribute boxes to clients, as well as sort donations as needed. We are looking for 1-2 volunteer per shift to assist with this process.

The Red Shield Center food pantry is located in Greenwood, IN, and is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30-3pm.

Volunteers must be able to do some minor lifting of prepared boxes and basic reading to count and record donations. Volunteers age 6 and older can serve with this opportunity, though minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian while volunteering. All volunteers must be prepared to handle the tasks presented to them while volunteering.
