Install Born Learning Trail in Putnam County
We need YOUR help installing Putnam County’s first-ever Born Learning Trail at Big Walnut Sports Park in Greencastle!
The trail features ten early childhood learning activity sites, which promote learning, curiosity, and outdoor recreation. During the installation, each section of the trail will need to be installed and mulched. In addition to the trail, we are having a broader park cleanup day, which will include updating the park’s flower beds (weed eating, planting, and mulching), as well as other beautification projects.
About Born Learning Trails:
The United Way Born Learning is a set of tools that equip parents, caregivers and communities to create early learning opportunities for young children. Designed to support parents in their critical role as a child’s first teacher, Born Learning is a long-standing resource used across the United States.
