Growing Together Day

On Go All In Day with United Way of Central Indiana, volunteers are invited to join Sycamore Services, Inc. for a hands-on day of gardening and creativity alongside people with developmental disabilities.

Volunteers will help refresh our community garden by clearing beds, pulling weeds, planting flowers and produce, spreading mulch, and preparing the space for the season. This garden is a place where the individuals we serve relax, learn new skills, and enjoy time outdoors, and your help will make it a beautiful, welcoming environment for everyone.

After gardening, volunteers will partner with our clients to complete guided art projects such as painting, decorating planters, and creating seasonal crafts. No artistic experience is needed—just a willingness to connect, encourage creativity, and have fun together. These shared activities build friendships, boost confidence, and create meaningful experiences for the people we serve.

This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, or corporate teams to give back, work together, and see the direct impact of their time. All supplies and instructions will be provided—just bring comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and a big heart!
